Short Film Submissions Now Open!

FascinAsian Film Festival returns to the Prairies in May 2026, continuing its mission to celebrate and promote Asian perspectives, culture, and integrity in film and media.

We invite Pan-Asian filmmakers from across Canada, the United States, and around the world to submit their short films for a chance to be officially selected and screened in:

• Winnipeg
• Calgary
• Edmonton

Our festival exists to showcase the creativity and talent of Asian filmmakers, performers, and media arts creatives within the global Asian diaspora. Through diverse programming, we aim to inspire, educate, and bring communities together in appreciation of the art form and collective storytelling.

Submission Deadlines

• Early Bird Deadline: November 23, 2025
• Regular Deadline: December 21, 2025
• Final Deadline: January 18, 2026
